Bruce Kitchen, CCTC/School District Liaison San Bernardino & San Diego Counties FYI Can't attend this week's Commission on Teacher Credentialing meeting at the San Diego County Office of Education? This is a reminder that you can tune in on their webcast both Thursday and Friday. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. on August 7. You can listen in by clicking on www.ctc.ca.gov/live. special interest may be the presentation by Larry Rosenstock, one the
founders of High Tech High, and the "genesis" of their creation of an
in house teacher credentialing program and a graduate school of
education. His presentation is scheduled for Friday morning
immediately following an 8:45 a.m. Public Hearing.
A reminder that the CTC will be holding their
southern California Special Education Forum in Costa Mesa to be held
August 13 at the National University campus in Costa Mesa. The session
is to begin at 10:00 a.m. and should conclude at 4:30 p.m.
